House6 was started back in 2002. The name comes from one of the first websites I built. The students from a local middle school were grouped by grades into individual "houses". I was asked to build a website for two teachers representing "House6d". I liked the name, and the rest is history.

I've always had difficulty writing about myself. I tend to believe that actions speak louder than words, and, for the most part, I think they have.

In 2000, I joined the message boards at Flashkit.com to find information about the program SWiSH. At the time, SWiSH was a relatively new program and the community was still rather small. I soon realized that I was going to have to solve most of my problems on my own. In doing so, I started writing tutorials to help others who were having the same problems. This led to the founding of my website Swish-Tutorials.com.

Swish-Tutorials began as a way to organize the tutorials I'd written and to offer free files to the community. I decided to start my own message boards dedicated to answering questions about those files, and the response was more than I ever expected.

Growing at a rate of over a thousand new users every day, Swish-Tutorials quickly became the largest dedicted Swish forum on the internet. In September of 2003, at nearly 50,000 members, the forum was sold to iNet Interactive and has become SwishTalk.com.

In October of 2003, I was offered a job to work for the company that created SWiSH - SWiSHzone.com. I started as a technical writer and eventually became their lead designer. I have since worked on nearly every product they offer, and I have had the chance to help thousands of people from all around the world.
